The kits not only give you ethnic and ancestry information (based on Ancestry’s database of more than 18 million customers) covering more than 1,500 different regions around the world, but the Traits kit also reports on your physical and sensory traits that will tell you more about what genetic features you have inherited. Here's how it works: once you order the kit, you'll receive a saliva collection tube, instructions and a pre-paid return envelope that you can drop in the mail with your saliva sample inside. Results take only six to eight weeks to get back, after which you can then explore the results on the company's website.
